A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also had them long enough that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where could someone find Golden Goose sneakers?

I discovered mine on discount via Cettire and purchased them that way!

Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .

How expensive are they?

When I grabbed my pair in April, I paid just under $390, but their regular price is over $500.

These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $410 and $1,700, depending on how decked out they are.

How is the fit?

I’d say they fit goose shoes just right, based on my pair.

They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up

How comfy are they?

They only needed minimal break-in time..

How durable are they?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.

Are they worth it?

Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also be smart.

You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and seventeen hundred depending on their uniqueness.

How does the sizing run?

I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up

Are they comfortable?

They required minimal break-in time.

How durable are they?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.

Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
